Maimako Livinus Nkuri

Dr. Livinus Nkuri Maimako, CNA, is a Lecturer I in the Department of Accounting, Faculty of Management Sciences, University of Jos, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D. in Accounting from Putra Business School, University of Putra Malaysia, obtained in 2024, as well as an M.Sc. in Accounting and Finance and a B.Sc. in Accounting from the University of Jos.

Dr. Maimako has extensive professional and academic experience spanning accounting, finance, management accounting, teaching, research, and university administration. Before joining the academic community as an Assistant Lecturer in 2017, he served in various capacities within the Bursary Department of the University of Jos, rising to the position of Senior Accountant. He has also worked as an Accounting Teacher.

His academic interests and specialization include Finance, Accounting, and Management Accounting, with teaching and research experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. He has also participated in the supervision of Ph.D. research in Accounting, Business Administration, and Banking and Finance. At the University of Jos, he has served as a lecturer and level coordinator, contributing to teaching, student supervision, and academic administration.

Dr. Maimako is a member of the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN). He is committed to advancing accounting education, research, professional development, and the application of contemporary accounting knowledge to organizational and societal challenges.
